This module is designed to allow to you set specific shipping amounts for specific SKUs in your store. It createsa database table that keeps track of the items and shipping amounts so it doesn't modify or break coreVirtueMart files or database in any way. You set the pricing you want for each SKU in the module configuration screen (From the VirtueMart Store Control Panel click Store->Shipping Module List->Configure Ship Method for the ship_product module).
The module is based on previous work of Theodore Root, CompDat.com, The code was updated to support latest PHP, VirtueMart 1.1.5 and to use VirtueMart core language tokens instead of hardcoded English text strings to be easily integrated in non-English shops. Also couple of small bugfixes where added.
___________
Update: v0.3 released, with a bugfix. The module returned a shipping amount of 0.0 if none of the selected products in the cart where set to have a SKU based shipping amount.
"Locations" is a plugin-module combination with a very simple scope: to hide/show parts of your content based on user's preferences. The module shows a drop-down of available locations - as company headquartes/operating centers/sales points, whatewer crosses your mind. The list of locations is a simple, comma delimited list.
You have the possibility to add a pre-text to the module, for example to explain to your users what is the role of the module.
The accompanying plugin is very simple to use. Just place the text you want to show when certain location in the module is selected like {location MyTown}Content specific for MyTown option from module{/location}.
The text above will be shown ONLY if in the module MyTown is selected. The module/plugin pair is working only together, you should download the pack, unpack it, install abd publish them both.
The plugin has no option yet, and the module is fully translateable, English and Hungarian language files are attached.
